Much of this year was spent getting repairs to the damage done over the winter from F11 winds in the marina.  High quality work was carried out by Alistair at Craobh resulting in a repainted sheer stripe and a replaced teak toe rail.

In addition the main reefing motor failed and was sent back to Selden in Sweden. No faults were found, suggestions included battery power, poor contacts and uneven sail reefing due to stretching of our 6 year old main.

After some delays the system was reinstalled the main re-cut and successfully commissioned.

Our first sail after the repairs was a fine sail to Kerrera Island, Oban where we were luky to see a wonderful display of the northern lights.
